Game Description

What would happen if the Earth were just one big blank slate? Find out by making your mark on LittleBigPlanet. You'll start with your own patch of land carved out of a beautiful blue and green planet. Discover your character's abilities and use them to shape your surroundings as you see fit. You can move anything you see, plus design, build, and create whatever you can imagine. On top of a massive single-player experience, other players on the PlayStation Network will shape their own plots, creating a community that's endlessly interactive and fully interwoven. Multiplayer modes spring up both on and offline, giving you a chance to work together or compete.

Platforming games have seen a decline in popularity over the past few years since their pinnacle in Mario 64 (my opinion, anyway. Insert your favorite title there...) What Media Molecule has done with LittleBigPlanet is provide a game both young children and adults will enjoy for months or longer....more
