I played the first one and liked all of the developer created levels, but the community levels were worthless, so I wasn't too stressed about getting 2 during the PSN security downtime. But the developer levels just weren't as much fun this time. I forced myself to play through the first 5 worlds, then I just lost interest.
If you don't have multiple people to play with, like the first, you can't access some sections of the levels, so you can't get 100% on the level.
I think this suffered the way Katamari Damaci did, where the originality of the first one was such a huge part of why it was fun, so when the newness had worn off, the second one did not seem to be as good.
