Not as good as I thought it would be...

I thought it would be entertaining, but honestly it wasn't... It wasn't very long and it only took me about two hours to finish the game. The creators made it look like it was hard to finish, but it was very simple. This is the kind of game I don't like at all... I wouldn't recommend getting this game.

They want us to pay $50 for this?
True, Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole for the Wii is a decent flight simulator. Here, you play as Shard, a young owl who has to protect the land from the evil owls.
Through 25 missions, you fly about, beat up bad birds and bats, rescue owlets, and destroy several structures with Hot Coals - things you pick up from a spot on the game field.
The controls work very well; I had little trouble keeping control of Shard. Get lost? Push the 1 button to get back on track.
Fighting the enemy is really simple; you hit a direction on the control pad (down if you want your wingmen to attack)
Along we way, you collect coins to buy sets of armor that improves your speed, attack, defense, and/or stealth. But I didn’t find much difference between the sets of armor you get as you go through the missions.
Missions which aren’t very long. I was able to get through the game in three to three and a half hours. It wouldn’t surprise me if there are players who can get through it in less than three hours.
So what’s there to go through it a second go?
Well, you can play as a different type of Owl (there are four to choose from). But, like the sets of armor, I found no difference in the gameplay experience when I switched Owls (and I have to go through the tutorial and every mission all over again).
Well, I can go for all gold medals in all missions - but that’s not going to happen. Oops, there goes all the reasons.
The game makers could’ve been inventive and put in some more features.
Features like a co-op mode, and a counter-op mode. I would’ve like to see this go on line and have a bunch of good owls battle evils owls in a Deathmatch mode. Or, a Capture the Flag game where the owls fight it out for the owlets.
But we don’t get any of that; we just get a basic, run of the mill, overpriced flight simulator that’s
Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole on the Wii. SKIP IT.
