If you have not ever played this game, or do not know anything about it... you will still love this game.
1. Like games with excellent stories... 2. Like adventure/puzzle games... 3. Like RPG's...
Then Zelda is right for you.
The legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time is not an RPG, but besides sport and shooter games, RPG's are the only kind of game that I will play.
If you loved Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, then you will love Ocarina of Time, because its better!!
Starts out in an Elf village, where Link (The character) is called upon by the great Deku Tree. The Great DEku Tree needs Link to slay the beast that lives inside of him called Ghoma. In order to complete this task, you must search the village for the sword and obtain rupee's on the way to buy the Deku shield. Once those items are obtained and equipped, Link will proceed into the Deku tree, and go through a dungeon with rooms, monsters, and puzzles to get to the Ghoma. Once Ghoma is reached, and slain, Link is granted a stone by the Deku tree. He sends Link out of the village to embark on a journey through the land of Hyrule where he will locate 2 other dungeons and get the 2 other stones he needs aquired. While on this journey, Link learns of the Princess's father evil scheme to take over Hyrule with the part of the triforce - Power. Link is sent to the Temple of Time by the princess Zelda where he places his 3 stones into a pillar, which opens a secret door to where a special sword is cemented into a pedastool. Link proceeds to this room and pulls the sword from the pedastool thus taking him 7 years into the future to stop Ganondarf ( The princess's father ) To reach Ganadarf Link is called upon to find and slay the bosses in 5 temples giving him the gems/stones to create a pathway to the Ganandarfs castle, where Link must destroy him. To destroy him Zelda gives Link the power of Strength. Once Link kills Ganondarf, he can once return to the old Hyrule!
Zelda has changed our thoughts on imagination forever. Zelda was first a side-scroller on the nintendo. Then became one of the first 3-D games on the nintendo64 and everyone loved it. When I heard it was re mastered for the GC I (And my mother)were thrilled. And I am happy to say it was the best game I played(besides RE4)on the game cube. It has all the features of the original including the harder version called Master quest which was normaly fond after beating the game. This game rocked the nintendo then and does now, i recommend this game to people who love zelda franchise or just wanting to finish un finished business.
