For Spyro Fanboys Only

I think if I were a big Spyro fanboy, I'd like this. It's certainly not as clunky as I found the Spyro GBA titles, but here's why I just couldn't get into it: you have to use the cross pad, a, b, x, y buttons, and stylus! By my count that means 3 hands. The directions indicate that you use your finger, and not the stylus, but perhaps I just have big fat adult hands, my fingers weren't precise enough. I've wanted to get into Spyro, but I guess since I didn't own a PlayStation, I will forever be deprived of the best Spyro there was ('cause now it looks so dated, ick).

In the begining... The End

This game is rather short. It houses about 2 days of on and off gaming in the story mode with a rather weak arcade mode to back it up. If you take the time to go through the puzzles through the storyline you can unlock, you guessed it, more puzzles!!! There are over 40 of these in game puzzles and by completing them you unlock the bonus puzzles and some abilities such as small spyro and invincibility. Are you purple enough to find them? The incorporation of the stylus was rather strong in my opinion. Instead of only using it to pick stuff up you also use it to lock onto targets, kill certain enemeis, activate doors in your environment, and is the only way to defeat a boss. All in all i give it a 6. Worth playing but doubt your gonna get very into it.
