The game was a wonderful rental, but I don't suggest anyone buy it. It is very straight forward 4 lands, 4 powers, no collecting, no side quest. For me it was like 18-20 hours of play if that. Loved the dragonfly, same voice as the Emperor in The Emperor's New Groove.
Sweet Storyline its not really going with the later spyro games from PS but still its pretty fun to play love Spyro's & Spark's new voices (eillijah woods and david spade) and nice graphics as well.... the down part is, is that like in other spyro games you can visit places after the game is completely over and you only fly like twice in the whole game and its not the free roaming flying, but other then that its pretty cool

I was disappointed with this latest addition to the spyro lineage. This game was nothing like the previous spyro games and lacked the fundamental factors that made the original games so great. The combat was very straightforward and boring. You continue to slash at the enemies until they die. The flames from Spyro's breath are more realistic looking but I felt that they were less effective seeing as you could only breathe fire for a limited amount of time. Spyro's secondary head bash attack is difficult to control and inflicts minimum damage. The game is also fairly short and lacks replayability. This game may be worth a rent but if you were a fan of the originals chances are that you will be as dissatisfied as I was.
