No longer what it once was in the past, Spyro has returned in a new type of genre. You don't go from stage to stage rescuing dragons, collecting gems, and beating the baddies with the old fire/headbutt.
In this new game, Spyro takes a completely different direction. Some people don't like change, thus will give this game a negative score for it. But if we are looking at the game for what it really is ("a new begining", or a fresh start), then the game is pretty fun. The fighting system is very varied, as you attack using the same pattern nearly the whole game. You do, however, get the ability to upgrade you breath in the game, which is a major plus from the previous spyro games.
Albeit the game seems slightly repetitive, it is loads of fun. And, if gamers can be open-minded that this is a completely new spyro, and not the one they have been playing for years, they will defintly enjoy this game
Voice acting: 9/10. Pretty impressive. They really got into their parts
Graphics: 8/10. The In-game videos are a bit interesting
Gameplay: 8/10. Overlooking some minor complaints, such as learning new attacks (that arent breath), the gameplay is amazing.
Other comments: The game is a bit short. So, you might want to rent this game rather than buy it.
