Whilst there does seem to be a lack of user reviews on this game, and I consent that it was made in 2008, just does not justify how terrible this game really is.
Avoid this game at all costs.
I watched a video of some sort and noticed the game, I should have looked up some gameplay. Aside from the games extremely difficult 'figure out what the heck is going on' issue, I died repeatably on the first monster, on the first quest you get in the pub. Until I got the bright idea of hiring some 'leaders' but then spending another 15 minutes figuring out how to actually add them into my party instead of making ANOTHER leader..
Which brings me to my next point. While it is great to have multiple parties, you just can't even get past a single round of combat unless you start stacking hp from all the members. WHAT THE HECK ? So your forced into making 1/2 full groups, wasting the potential for actually flanking / rear attacking enemies by having multiple parties. The only way you don't get completely out numbered, ambushed then raped repeatably by spiders that agro you from under the ground.. who happen to have 5+ groups of +4 monsters in them...
You can't force your character to use Arts you want, you have ability points.. but there isn't a reason to not use them. If you have a party of 5 people, and 1 person kills the attacking wave. Even if that party later gets attacked in the same round apparently those 4 other people just stand around with their thumbs up their ... I think you get the point.
Lest I not mention how freakish your character looks when they walk / run around ? They look like a quadriplegic man attempting to walk with prosthetics.
Again avoid this game at all costs.
