Thought this game was pretty good. Should be called a "fighting" game if you play it with a friend. Or in my case, my wife. We were constantly fighting for who does what. You have to share the screen and at times is difficult with the camera angles.
Pros +graphics are decent +easy to pick up and play +overall pretty fun +kids can play or watch without being horrified
Cons -camera angles can be a pain -gets a little redundant due to its simplicty
Overall I would recommend renting for anyone who wants to play with a friend. A fun experience for about a week or so.
Lego Indiana Jones isn't a good or bad game, it starts out good and just gets dull and never really comes back. The graphics are the standard lego Star Wars look, the only real improvement over that series is that you can switch characters without being right next to them. The controls work nicely, the platforming is kind of glitchy though. I died many times just trying to jump the obvious path. There's 18 levels, all have replay value if your the type of person who has to 100% a game. I would definantly warn anyone getting this for a child that the puzzles are fairly hard, I had to consult a walkthrough more than a few times. The co-op was the worst aspect, there is no online and same screen is plagued by an annoying camera and the respawning where your partner is when the camera could easily pan further out was a huge annoyance. The achievements are kind of skimpy unless you plan on finding all the treasure and secrets and all unlockables you'll probably only walk away with 300-400 gamerpoints, but it was a good weekend rental, but could've been a lot better
The game is fun, but it's really hard to fight with enemies. The bullets go really fast and the enemies never stop coming. There few mistakes, but It's really hard to find them. If you really like Lego Games. Than you should just buy this game, but if you are achievement junkie. Than just rent. The bad part is there's no multi player. I thought you can complete missions together, but you can not.
