Kingdoms of Amalur: the Reckoning is a very brightly colored game with tons of stuff to do. There are lots of side quests but they are pretty lame and don't offer much reward. Character creation is good, and the level up system is fantastic. However, I lost interest about an hour and a half in. I play it daily, but only for an hour or so. It is boring and fun at the same time. It's fun to explore, but not nearly as wowing as Skyrim. Overall, if you're looking for a big game with a crazy fun story you'll feel right at home. If you want top notch action and exploration, give it a try and decide for yourself

I'll make this short. This game is awesome. I haven't even played all the way through it, and probably aren't even close yet, as I've already spent at least 13 hours just on side stuff. I haven't even gone on much of the main quest stuff.
The reason I say this game is awesome is the gameplay. It's an RPG. I've been longing for a game just like this, but didn't know it existed. The moment I got this adventure, fantasy filled world of amazing sights, villains, creatures, and more, I dived in, and didn't stop for a long time. I had work the next day, and was going to get up at around 8 some in the morning, but kept playing until about 5 AM. Does that tell you how jacked in I am to this game. It takes a really good game to do that to me, and this is it.
Kingdoms of Amaleur: if you haven't played it. I really really recommend it. If you've spent a lot of time in a fantasy quest world online, you'll want this game. Same scenario, choose a race, choose where you want to level up in, and what you want to gain in, and more. Plus, you can have one file as one race, keep it there, and new game with another race, whilst keeping that profile, and simply load back and forth to see which you like better.
I will be buying this game from gamefly soon, so hopefully there's another copy for you guys.
Please, don't pass this game up, you won't regret trying it out.
