This game is amazing. The control is fast and fluid making changing through weapons seamlessly; the spell are easy to cast. You are not restricted to one class you can mismatch from 3 class rogue (assassin) might (warrior) and sorcerer (mage). Unlike most game where its fun being a mage this game spreads the fun to all classes. Especially when you go the hybrid route (combination of 2 or more classes).
Main story is good and worthwhile lots to do pretty big map.
My only issue with this game is that it is too easy and because of that you dont fully unlock/explore the full game potential such as the various potions use and potions making because you kill all your enemies b4 you can attempt to use them, thats even on the hardest mode. My other issues is they should have some sort power/spell wheel because at times when you want to deactive a passive spell it is quite a drag...
anyways i loved this game so much that i bought it just to support the makers but turned out they still got cut off from the second project due to low sales...helas only if they had strong marketing behind it.
Nonetheless worth the buy and def the rent.

I am a lifelong RPG fanatic, and I'm 30. Halfway through the game, and I'm completely and utterly addicted. It's like the took Dragon Age: Origins and made it even better, if that was even possible. The combat is near flawless, with attacks flowing so seamlessly that it looks real. The art direction by Todd McFarlane is incredible, and the scripting and dialogue by R.A. Salvatore is as always top knotch (he also wrote the dialogue and story for Demon Stone, an older RPG game that was really great). I loved being able to customize your character very in depth while not being overwhelmed like Final Fantasy can sometimes be. The entire game is like Skyrim without the wonky battle system. Gathering/collecting doesn't feel like such a chore, the world is very open ended, you can choose between good and bad decisions, and the voice acting is definitely above average. I give this a 10 for being just plain awesome. I rarely buy a game, but I'm very glad I bought this one, the replay value is going to be great, and the game has around 100 hours of gametime available just one 1 go around (if you choose to do everything available). Otherwise, it's about a 25 hour game, so it's not the 60-80 hours of a regular play through of Final Fantasy games. Just go rent it already!
