This game surprised me more then any game on the market on the past 10 years. I thought for sure when I saw this title, it would be another Fable failure, but it was anything but. The storyline is genius, the gameplay is great, and the powers that your player has are amazing and different. It is open world in a sense, with paths you must follow. I love this game so much I bought it and started over, this game could easily give you over 70 hours of gameplay with the DLCs and has a great replay value.
If youre looking for another skyrim or dragons age ( the first) turn back now. in all other aspects, story, graphics for its time, i
t excels in all of the above. if you dont like it go back to playing pong.
The short and sweet of it is that Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is what happens when Fable 2 and 3, Skyrim and Dragon Age: Origins get chocolate wasted and after a night of filthy debauchery decide to keep the baby. That is seriously the best review of this game that you will ever read because if you can imagine that child then you are imaging this game. And if you feel a little overwhelmed and get weak in the knees when you think about how that game will play, then this game is for you. If it makes you throw up in your mouth a little bit then you should go rent Kane & Lynch instead.
I've rented plenty of games from Gamefly but never have I been so enamored with a title that it made me want to purchase it outright. Well it finally happened.
