Being a Kingdom Hearts fan, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on KH2. Played ten hours straight when I got home and was happy with the game. The combat system is exciting and thrilling because you learn new attacks. I gave this game a 10, but if you haven’t played the first one or didn’t like the second one it will seem like an eight. There are still many things that need improvement in this game. For example, the triangle action commands are a nice touch, but it’s just too easy, during short cut scenes, to keep on pressing triangle to eventually complete the rhythm. Also the camera functions jumble when locking on to an enemy. Now that we are over the bad stuff, let’s look at the upside. Sora, Donald, and Goofy are back for another round of battling heartless, but there’s a new enemy. You don’t know if they are friend or foe, but you do know that they are called the Nobodies and are controlled by a group of elite fighters, known as OrganizationXIII. If you have played Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories you may remember them. All around this game is fun and should keep you occupied for more than 20 hours. I strongly recommend KH2 to fans of the first and for those who haven’t played the first and are interested, go ahead and rent it. You won’t fall behind in the KH series because if it took this long to get the sequel then imagine how long KH3 will take before it gets here.
Back in 2002 Disney and SquareSoft came out with Kingdom Hearts. It was easily one of the best games of 2002. Now Disney and SquareEnix came back with a sequel to Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2. This time around Sora Goofy & Donald are back with a whole new adventure and a whole new enemy Organization XIII & the Nobodies. On their journey you'll be able to revisit worlds from the first game. Not to mention new worlds including a Pirates of the Caribian level and a Mulan level. The new storyline picks up a whole year after the first game with a new caracter Roxas. The long wait is finaly over!

Everything bad about the original was fixed. There are alot more FInal Fantasy characters, and drives are a fun new addition. The camera is alot better, using the right analog stick instead of the shoulder buttons and is easier for combat. The voice acting is great, along with the other sound. The graphics are probably the best ever for the PS2. About the only thing I didnt like about the game was that is a little shorter for me than the original was, but it doesnt really matter too much.
