Just like the title says, Killzone: Shadow Fall is a launch shooter through and through. It's a pretty game for the most part, up there with other AAA shooters which came out around the same time (Battlefield 4, etc.). I only noticed a few graphical hiccups throughout the 8-10 hour campaign and one instance where I was stuck in a level's geometry.
Shadow Fall's biggest downside is that it does nothing to separate itself from the countless other FPS' that have come out in the past...5 years. It's generic to the core with unlikable characters and a story that leaves you feeling like you wasted your time. This is a Killzone game which means that the signature Killzone gameplay is at work here: Heavy, slow, plodding movement and aiming, cover shooting, and ridiculously omnipotent A.I. enemies.
Play if you're a fan otherwise you're probably good passing.
