Graphics Good

That's about all. The game play is good when you are actually playing golf. Otherwise you are trying not to fall asleep waiting for a load screen after every hole. I like the fact that you can create a knockoff of the Mii to have your own character, and it is a very creative mini golf game with a hole (ex.) hitting into a pipe to go from green to green. I really think this could be very good if it really wasnt for the load screen everytime I think there would be more reviews in the 6-7 range. But as creative as this game is if you rent it you will be bored fast.

"Crazy Golf": Not quite good enough

This game comes from the same guys who gave us such god awful games as Myth Makers: Trixie in Toyland, Rig Racer 2 and Classic British Motor Racing.
Crazy Golf isn't a total train wreck like those other games; it's a decent miniature golf game that you can play up for four people with.
The menus are easy to navigate, and the arcade style controls work very well.
But why reinvent the wheel? Nintendo has the Miis, but Data Design Interactive feels the need to give us NuYus (Yes, that's how they spell it, NuYu. Sounds like a lame rock group.)
There's no real difference between a NuYu and a Mii, so the designers are wasting the programmers time making these NuYus when they should be making a better miniature golf game.
Yes, there are problems in Crazy Golf. First off are the load screens. Before every hole - every hole - you get hit with a long load screen. If you're playing solo, you spend almost as much time watching that load screen as you are playing the game.
Second, there are too many inclines. In the later holes, the designers have you put up several hills and/or jumps. This requires precision putting or you will waste strokes.
Then, there's the Sim style of putting. Data Design Interactive didn't think there would be any left handed players playing this game because they didn't calibrate the putting motion for lefties (like me).
The graphics are okay, but the music is terrible - turn it off. And it gets annoying to see my NuYu do the same dance dozens of times over. Presentation is lacking here.
Crazy Golf is the best I've played by Data Design interactive (I've played about six or seven of them), but it's not good enough for you to spend your time or money on.

Don't get me wrong the graphics are pretty ok but the gameplay of it is not all that. The only reason why I am giving it s 5 is because of the graphics. But gameplay I give it a 1. So don't waste your time.

Great Game, 1 Drawback Though

I bought this game as one of my very 1st games for my new Wii. I was looking for a mini-golf game that had the most holes, and one that my Dad (in his mid-60's) would enjoy playing as well. We both really enjoy it & have finally finished all the courses under par.
The resounding complaint about the load time from every other reviewer is the only drawback. However, as my Dad & I were playing it the other day, we came to the conclusion that compared to playing a real mini-golf course--where you have to walk to each new hole, wait for other players to finish, etc...--the load time for each hole is nothing. The Arcade style of play is the easiest way to play, I haven't tried the SIM style as of yet though.
I like being able to create a Nu-Yu character--they're much better detailed than the Wii Mii's. I was able to create a Nu-Yu that looks just like my Dad, one that looks really close to me, and a few others that look like some of my friends.
As a new Wii owner/player, I've only played 5 different games on my system, so I may not be the best judge of quality as of yet. But, I really enjoyed playing the game--even if I occasionally got frustrated with a hole I was trying to finish. Don't get me wrong, the 1st 2 worlds are relatively easy, the last 2 are definitely more difficult. Since I like being challenged, it made it much more fun to play. If you want a challenging mini-golf game, with some time between holes to get a drink or just rest your hands, this is a good one to try.

Reminds me of carnival games. Don't waste your time buying, playing, or renting this game.

The only thing worth it on this game is the graphics, the game play is horrible.
