I enjoyed the story line and the fact that in the game-play you have several other mini missions that you can do to get achievements. The reason it get the rating that it does; however, is that because of the design of the controls and how they effect the game. The way that the screen touch screen controls the aim and you still use the stick to move makes it really hard to hold the system in a way that the 3d works well. In addition after about a half hour of game play my wrist was left cramped and my fingers tingly. The worst part was that the touch screen control system was the best control option that was given.
Overall, I would say this game was not a complete waste of time, but I would not suggest it.
I thought this game was a fun game to play, only the camera angle was hard to keep up with while playing the ground battling parts. Pretty cool to watch and play in 3-D. Alot of talking though, so you would need to play somewhere where you can have the sound on.
Comparing this to what would have been done with the same content on the Vita, it's just silly. I see the high scores, and don't get it. The controls are just plain bad. I'm an old man admittedly, but playing with the stylus mode for more than 10 minutes and my wrist was in pretty solid pain.
I would have loved this to be a platformer instead of this on-rails shooter thing.
The positives are there in the form of graphics, and the controls...while poorly laid out...work well in very short bursts.
