Not as good as the first two Kessens

I was excited to play this game becuase Kessen 1 and 2 were very good with players having unique offensive powers to kill many enemies. I liked the fact that i could press a button and the character does all the killing for you. But in this Kessen part 3 you have to do EVERYTHING. I did not enjoy that i was fighting off guys with one group and worrying about another becuase before you know it you have a whole army almost dead becuase your busy fighting one army by yourself. The only thing i liked about this version was the option to choose between many different battles. But Kessen 2 blew away 1 and 3. You could make many of your own choices to change the story without killing yourself in every battle. Each player in Kessen 2 had there own cool powers were in Kessen 3 they allhave similar powers and it gets boring becuase they arent that affective. This game dissapointed me compared to 1 and especially part 2 of Kessen.

Fun Tactical Feudal Japanese Warfare

Kessen III is a great game. It has an epic story line while you follow the campaign of Nobunaga Oda. Through out the game you acquire money through victories, new officers with special abilities and expertise in leading specific types of units(cavalry, muskets, etc.) and if you have a Dynasty Warriors saved game on your memory card there are even more special things about this game
"no spoilers". You lead your armies by telling them where to go on the field through your map or who engage in combat and you can always choose a company to manually control and attack with. All the warfare is in real time, which means keeping track of your army is a priority and knowing which of your companies are attacking another(e.g. you don't want to sent cavalry against pike men) Ultimately, this game has fun game play, acceptable graphics, a need for strategic and tactical thinking and the cinematics are pretty cool as well. If your looking for a game to get hooked onto the kessen series, Kessen III is just as good a choice then any other.

I'm a big fan of ancient history based games.. Kessen III offer what i already know from samurai warriors 2 but instead in a different gameplay. Still, just like almost all of koei games (series such as dynastyl warriors and samurai warriors series) it took time to boost your characters. blah. blah.. it's the same old same old.. if you want to enjoy this game to its fullest! i reccommend gameshark cheat (if they have one). This game offer variety of things but in order to unclock those you have to buy, sell, earn , etc.... it will take a while. when the gameplay remains mostly the same.. so by the time you have the best equipment, armors, etc.. you're probably tired of its repetitive already :(
