Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble for PSP Reviews by Gamers

Let me start by saying, the bad. The fighting can get a bit boring. First you use "Menchi" vision, which initiates a trash talking section. Now you can't really be more "open" with this, because it puts the lines it wants you to say, up on the screen, once you've pressed the corresponding buttons, if you did it correctly, you get to strike first.
From there the fighting gets more boring in the sense, that, it is your general button masher. 3 square attacks = combo. 1 triangle = hard finisher. Both buttons can be held. Other moves can be accomplished, with the L1 button, by grabbing hold of the opponent, but often times I find they manage to struggle their way out, or maybe it's just too slow for me.

Now for the good stuff. The trash talking really can be funny, the attitude of the game itself, is hillarious, and it has a great story. Also, the character customization isn't lacking. It's just the actual fighting, that seems very repeated, and very old school, really.

I would rent this again, later, and maybe even consider buying it.
