The Quirky Fun Never Stops!

From the amazing Namco comes the quirky game of Katamari Damacy! The Prince of All Cosmos is on a mission to repair the stars, which were destroyed by the glorious King by mistake. How will the tiny Prince rebuild the stars, constellations, and the Moon? By rolling everything into a magical ball called a katamari! The katamari starts out fairly small, but you will eventually be rolling up buildings! The King will use his powers to make the katamari into a star! Graphics could be a little better, but this game was 2004, so don't expect awesome graphics. The story is funny! And the controls make you feel like you're really rolling a katamari! Overall, I give Katamari Damacy a 9 out of 10.

This game is very hard to get into. The controls are lame. It's hard to turn diffrent ways and you can't run up ramps. I can't even get through the first level! We Love Katamari was better...way better! Save your time and space in your GameQ and rent a fun adventure game like The legend of Zelda Twilight Princess TRUST ME you will be glad you did!

What the heck was I just playing?

Seriously, what the heck? This game has so many abstract concepts that I don't know if it is a game or a Beatles song. The game itself is great, of course, you won't really know what is going on for the entire game. The controls are decent, just a little awkward, the music is meh, and the graphics are, lets face it, so abstract that you will wonder what messed up version of Earth you are on. The games design is what makes it work, it may make no sense, but it works for this game. So my final verdict, buy it no matter what you like. This is, in the end, a game that evades classification in any genre. Few games are like this and are actually fun, so pick this one up if you have a chance.
