The first time I seen this game was last year in a game informer magazine. The graphics looked solid and the hype was there. I was hyped to play this game!

A year later I get it in my mailbox and indulge in the dark world of Kane and Lynch. The controls take time to get used to and aiming can be annoying but after you get the hang out of it feels natural and getting the kill feels rewarding. Graphics are nothing to write home to mom about but do offer some interesting moments (like the club level.) The game is challenging and if your like me you will have to restart many of the missions. The one thing I like about the game is the co-op you must have. If you need ammo your partner is there to supply you. If you die you simply need a shot from a team mate and you are back on your feet. I have not played online yet but from watching to tutorial on it, it looks very, Very fun.

In the end if you can stand the bad language and a little challenge then give this game a go.

Kane and Lynch is a very interesting game, and the characters have a twist to them that makes you want to find out more. The visuals are amazing and the gameplay is good too. But the downside is that the levels tend to get a little boring after level 4 and it just makes you want to play just to get the achievements. The way it plays out is very bland and repetitave as well. This game should be a rent not a buy immediatly

i was really looking forward to this game. but its not that great. it's cool to play a game that could so easily be a movie but it falls short of being memorable for anything else.

graphics might not be important, but these arent the ones we were shown in the teasers on xbox live. they arent bad, just not great

the gameplay feels like it would be better as a stranglehold/max payne style game, but instead it feels more like a bad adaptation of ghost recon, in which it is contextual how and where you can cover and peak. controlling the AI 'crew' also leaves a little to be desired as they will run into a cross fire to bludgeon someone you send them after as opposed to shooting them like they should. also i've had lynch get stuck on the overpass scene and he wouldnt move or trigger the cut-scene at the end. little things like that arent so little when you're playing on a game you've waited for for a year.

all in all this is a rental. it seems like it couold be beaten in a few days on any difficulty.
