Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

This is just my opinion and I know some people will like this "documentary-style" of view, but I hate it. I don't like all the movement of the camera. I wish it would just stop.

I rented this game hoping it would be an improvement from the original Kane and Lynch. I was wrong. It only takes about 4-5 hours to finish the game on Story mode, 4 if you're playing on easy, 5 if you're playing higher. The storyline is weak and uninteresting. Too many things happen and not enough is explained, all the while trying to create a sense of urgency to escape only to make the game seem rushed and easy. Each chapter consists of "Run, find cover, shoot, repeat." The only shift in gameplay in towards the very end when an helicopter gets involved, and thats it. The dialogue is funny at times, but even Lynch himself can be heard saying "God, will this ever end?" as more and more enemies flood the areas. No puzzles, no collectibles, no real skill required. Just hide and shoot. Its an ok game if you're have nothing else to rent, or you are waiting for another rental. Otherwise, you'll get nothing out of beating the game, and the achievements are a waste.
