Omega's Review of Justice League Heroes

The first day that I had this game I ended up playing it for 8 straight hours. The game is very addicting even from the beginning.

The minor problems that I had with the game are mainly personal issues, such as the unlockable character line up and (to me) the game seemed to be too short. However, this was a great gaming experience overall.

I also enjoyed the fact that two of my favorite big-time actors Michael Jai White (Spawn) and Ron Pearlman (Hellboy, Blade2) acted as the voices of Green Lantern and Batman.

Overall this was an excellent gaming experience with a storyline that would meet up to the expectations of any JLA fan as well as those who are new to the League and are simply out to enjoy a great video game. I give this game an 8 out of 10 and recommend it to all.

I was very excited to receive this particular game and play as these legendary super heroes. As I continued to play the game one thought continued to nag me...."Haven't I played this before?" The answer to that question is a resounding "Yes". Frankly, after playing JLH for about an hour, I wasn't eager to pick it back up again. The entire game is almost identical to X-men legends, although the character models are much better, and so is the voice acting. My biggest grip however is the lack of an option to select your hero(s) at the beginning of a mission. Being locked into a specific hero set every time you load a mission is a big letdown. I just received the game on Saturday, and I will be sending it back on Tuesday...'nuff said'.

Justice League The good the bad the ugly

Justice League Heroes. Here was a game I thought would overtake the X-Men series by all the hype surrounding it. First I will say that the graphics look very good, and the game play and flow is very good. There is very little depth in the plot, and story, but you have a good range of characters. (unless you count the 3 GL's, which all have the same powers). Accessing your powers is pretty easy and straight forward... unless you are being attacked at the same time. the powers won't activate. Also the experience system is not very good, the game does not track who killed or performed the most attacks. you have to be the first to run over and get the xp balls. really frustrating if you like using the distance attacks. i.e. Superman's Heat vision, Batman's batarang... It all comes down to who gets within proximity first. The uniqueness of trying some of the newer characters wears off after about 2 cycles of their powers. Beyond that, after playing for 6 hours it is really forming into a "prettier" X-Men Legends and not quite as fun.

So because of the flaws, and lack of originality and not so much fun, I give this a 4 out of 10.
