Simply enough, after going through this for a day or two, it's really not all that it's cracked up to be. I might suggest it if you're planning a whirlwind tourist trip of the various countries it has, but not much more than that. The total amount of phrases and words it gives you is really fairly minimal, and there's just not much instruction going on.
If you want a 'game' to learn a language, the 'My <Language> Coach' series is FAAAAAAAR better. The only reason to even go for this particular game is because the My Lang Coach games are missing Italian and German from their list. And of the languages that both have, the MLC ones surpass this by leaps and bounds. I wouldn't even suggest renting it unless you want to pick up a very little bit of German.

I'm only giving it the rating that I did, because if you tend on traveling to a country where one of these languages are predominantly spoken, then you'll get some use out of it. Otherwise, nothing that can really help you too much for everyday purposes. I bought it for $19.99 at work, and was very disappointed that I wasted my money on it.
