Just Dance for Wii Reviews by Gamers

I haven't experienced any odd things with my Wii in general, but this game crashed twice. So I tend to believe the game has some faulty code.

The gameplay was mostly fun. You could really learn to dance this way and not feel too silly about it. I have a hang up trying to dance in public but this game would probably help. Too bad it crashed on me. I think it would have been better perhaps to support two wiimotes per person to capture more of the player motion.

Not a bad game, really. The songs are great, the premise is really neat.. but it kinda falls short. Why? Can't download new songs. So pretty much within the first hour or so you've already used all the songs it comes with.

Also, it doesn't use the nunchuck, just the controller. So it's basing your dance moves on one controller.. one arm.. and I noticed that my daughter and I nailed several of the dance moves, but the game didn't log it as a win.

Another issue? The dancer you have to watch has no face. Honestly... it's freakin' creepy. It's almost like when you do the Wii fit and the instructor doesn't have a mouth. Weird. Odd. Distracting.

Anyway, Just Dance is a fun game to rent. You can play it and have a good time, then send it back and not waste the money on purchasing a game you're sure to be tired of quickly.
