Ok, this is definitely for young children! The Kidz Bop style covers of the songs are a bit annoying (Why must they sing falsetto? With all the technology today, you'd think they could shift the background track into the kids range.)
But that being said, My kids loved playing this! I rented it for my 5 year old, but before you knew it we had three 9 year old boys playing as well and having a blast.
One thing, there are three levels of difficulty for the different songs. Whoever rated these did a poor job. There were some easy level dances that my five year old could not keep up with, then there were a several difficult level songs that she got the highest score on. If you rent this, just pick the songs that you like and give it a shot, don't pay attention to the ratings.
