Just Dance 2 for Wii Reviews by Gamers

I just bought this game about 3 hours ago and begin playing it as soon as I stepped foot home. I loved the first Just dance. but with Just dance 2, I have yet to find a song with a dance that would really motivate me to dance along. The song selections in this game s really good. Alot of all time favorites but the dances that go along with them seemed weak and not very exciting. Just alot of wailing your arms and feet around nothing groovy really. There are just a few songs with good dance moves but mostly garbage. Wish I would have ordered it from gamefly first before buying this bad game.

I got this game for my little sister, and I tagged along to play also. So I tagged along to play with her, and then she told me to copy the move that the dance did and hold the WiiRemote on my right hand since it was the main hand.

As we played into our 3rd song, I noticed that if I just shake the Wiimote violently I get points, so I just did not dance and just moved my WiiMote around and to my suprise I was scoring points.

If this game used some sort of Motion Plus or etc. to capture/track our movements then it would be a hit, but this is basically getting a song, finding a dance video on youtube run the video thru a video editing software and make the dancer look like he took a neon bath, and slap it into a Wii game.

Besides everything is unlocked already, there are no modes that reward you, you basicalyl get the game to dance and nothing else, game modes suck.

This game needs more creativity and better game modes, if it wants to compete with Dance Central this holiday season.
