For those of you who've seen some of the movies about dinosaurs (namely Jurassic Park), this game should be familiar - in a way.
Jurassic: The Hunted is a first person shooter that plays out like many other shooters in the genre (namely the Conduit); you go from point A to Point B and shoot a lot of dinosuars.
One good thing about the game is the variety of weapons avaiable - from a shotgun to a rifle - and it's easy to find one that fits your playing style.
The game also does a good job of utilizing a Bullet Time slow motion ability that will help you hit the dinosaur's vitals and take the beast down.
But the levels could use better design in them, and there could be a much bigger variety of enemies for you to blast; as it, there's only a few two legged dinosuars, a bunch of scorpions and that's about it.
The last boss fight can be a real pain in the neck; it takes many, many shots to take it down.
There's a lack of difficulty settings which huts the replay value and there's no online deathmatch.
And the game could use on screen instructions on how to use the scope and toss grenades.
Still, at a running time of about three to four hours, Jurssic: the Hunted is an interesting diversion. RENT IT.

I played this game for about an hour. Before I got upset at the game, I died several times and just gave up. The graphics for being a WII game are great looking. However the shooting mechanics of the game are pretty bad. I was constantly running out of ammunition right in the middle of the attack. And when I was reloading the dinos were still attacking. That's how I was always dying. The game wasn't ALL that bad from all that I played. I probably would have been a good game if I could have gotten passed the glitches. Maybe the Playstation and Xbox versions would have been better.

This was another good idea that was poorly done. Leave this one on the shelf.
