Game Description

Legendary action-movie director John Woo brings his talents to this revolutionary action game that puts you inside one of his blockbusters. Stranglehold piggybacks the story begun in Woo's Hard Boiled, with star Chow Yun Fat returning as Inspector Tequila. When Tequila's wife is kidnapped by Russian mobsters, he has to balance his duty to follow the law with his desperate need to rescue his wife. Woo's patented slo-mo action comes to life with the Tequila Time aim-and-fire mechanism as you move through a cinematic storyline. It's cooked up by A-list Hollywood talent using "Rock n' Roll Physics," which means everything's destructible. Seriously, does it get any better than that?

I went ahead and bought the game based off the great demo from the PSN store and have gotten through the first two levels. Let's just say that I have both Tony Hawk, Skate, Heavenly Sword, and Warhawk available and I'll choose to play this one over them. The game play is similar to Max Payne--you c...more
