I will keep this simple as other reviews go further in depth most likely:
- Appealing surroundings
- Plethora of exercise routines
- Kinect will not catch particular movements (i.e. squats, push-ups, the hard stuff....)
- Kinect will sometimes cease picking up your movement as you run...annoying
- You almost have to use the controller in the main menus or you will pull your hair out
Gameplay when running smoothly and catch all my movements...I'd give it a 7/10
...because I found myself doing 30 squats to read 5 or literally 50 push-ups to read 5....a solid 4/10.
Jillian Michaels : Fitness Adventure is a worth-while exercise game. It replaces the zen and gym areas from other games and replaces it with jungles and tombs, filled with traps and doors that need to be broken down. The game is reminiscent of Kinect Adventure's Reflex Ridge, and Rise Of Nightmares. You control your character by running in place, and grabbing gems, that are floating in the air. You will be stopped, and be required to complete the on screen exercise which will help you complete an object, such as side lunging to dodge spikes or kicking down a door. The Kinect usually recognizes you, but can be frustrating, when you are forced to keep trying to redo the move. There is also another mode to learn the exercises, as well as a circuit mode, that you can create your own routine, ot play pre made ones, created by Jillian Michaels herself! The game is a good workout, plenty of sweat will be sweated! haha! give it a try!

Lots of exercises...
Motion tracking is poor, repetitive dialog, repetitive music
Overall I think I could have delt with it better if it wasnt for the repetitive nature. Also the Kinect does a fantastic job tracking... just not this... don't waste your money on it when there are much better fitness titles out there... on a posative note I can now say that I do not like Jillian Michaels and this game solidified that.
