In Jewel Quest Expedition, you play Rupert Pack who is on a quest to unlock the mysteries of the Jewel Board. World War II is in full swing and your true love, Emma Swimmingly, has just left you. Take control of the Nintendo DS and match cascading jewels in detailed patterns along your journey. Solve up to 180 unique jewel boards, explore different continents, and travel through markets, waterfalls, caves, and savannas. You can play with up to eight friends in Wi-Fi mode and match the jewels with your stylus.

The game is easy to learn but still challenging to play. The story mode tells a part of the story after every puzzle board. The boards start out small but get bigger and more challenging as you go.
