The game is well thought out and looks great it is fun to drive all the vehicles the running around is sort of tedious but all and all a good game guess now i have to see the movie so i can tell if the story is close to it.

After hearing reviews about how the game was pretty bad I decided to give it a go. A few days before I recieved this game I saw Avatar The Movie and loved everything about it. Wanting more of the atmosphere I went and played this game. I went in expecting a broken unresponsive game, but I must say I enjoyed my time on Pandora.
I had the most fun with the Na'vi who use bow and arrows and melee weapons. This may seem like a down side but I found it quite enjoyable to completly decimate the RDA with primitive weapons. The only real complaint with the Na'vi is the ending, the flying controls are kind of bad but they are easy to get used to.
With the RDA it was fun to run and gun, and just massacre the Na'vi with superior fire power. However the RDA vehicles are just god awful, the buggy's camera just jolts around you cant really see where you're going. The Scorpion (helicopter thing) also controls horribly using akward controls to move it forward and up and down. Also the RDA ending is completly dissapointing.
Now multiplayer is unbalanced, laggy, and has about 20 people on it.
All in all go in expecting not much and you'll enjoy this game. Also it helps to have watched the movie before hand as some of the things the game presents are explained better in the movie. Any who I found it fun and the controls are quite easy to master.
Okay for starters yes this game could of been great but its still a good solid title that does not feel like it was slapped together ...rogue warrior fu betheseda. The graphics are good but not great a soild 7 its not bad enough to be a game killer. This game is not for everyone which is why I beleive its getting very low scores from COD and Halo fans. The gameplay is solid with two very different play styles marine or na'vi I stayed human the first time around and it was alot of fun the na'vi is a bit more challenging and requires some finesse at times. Also a huge suprise to me is the multiplayer wasent that bad I actually had some fun in team deathmatch its definitly a one sided fight the marines just blast from a distance but I was fortunate enough to eventually get a team of smart na'vi players and we setup ambushes and gotin close to takeout the marines. I recommend this game give it a shot but its not for everyone.
