But then it becomes a very interesting game! The storyline is actually pretty good, you can choose to play either as the humans or the Na'vi (avatars). The controls are a little different but you will get used to them. The trophies are easy, just time consuming to get all the sector challenges. I finished everything in about 30 hours gametime, so not too long of a game. A definite rent if you are a fan of the movie! If you haven't seen it, I think I would recommend watching it first to understand the basics of this story.

Avatar is not based on the movie. The only thing that the movie has in common with the game is the world and the Na'vi. Other than that, the game is a completely different scenario. The army and the Na'vi are at war. The army is trying to gain unobtainium for Earth to become richer and the Na'vi are just trying to live and survive. Soon at the very beginning, you have to make a choice to stay in the Army or join the Na'vi. To me, the Army story is a bit easier than playing as the Na'vi because with the Army you have guns. This game is pretty fun, but could've been better with the story.
