Honestly I wasnt expecting much from this game but as it turns out, it was quite surprising. I found that despite it being a very linear game, I had a lot of fun. I have to say i loved the chase scenes with bond behind the wheel most of all. Dialogue was great. the mixture of that plus stealth and open combat really gives the player a good James Bond experience. what i found i didnt like about the game was the story was rather short and the game is quite easy. I played on hard difficulty and wasnt much of a challenge. there is no upgrades on anything whatsoever in this game so i found it kind of shallow. I found it upsetting that the enemies were able to hurl grenades at me but bond cannot use them for any reason which would have come in handy in many situations. I thought the focus kill feature was cool just wish i could have at least upgrade that to get more slots but oh well i guess they made it like that for a reason.

I gave this game a 7, probably more of a 6.5 though.....suggest rent only, you would be pi$$ed if you bought it

This latest James Bond offering has a lot going for it for fans of the famous spy. The graphics and sounds are amazing, and the story is worthy of a hollywood script. I would have rated this game higher if it were not for the simplistic nature of the game. It's a basic take cover and shoot the bad guys, and the scenario is played repeatedly. The only break you get is the occasional vehicle you get to control which amounts to no more than car chases. The controls are smooth and very responsive and the sound effects are loud and realistic. Not a big variety of weapons and all the bad guys can be taken out with a perfectly timed head shot from your Walter PPK. Your smartphone acts as your database and compass. You can hack PCs with it, find where to go next, scan items, and see where the bad guys are. Roger Moore would be proud. Those willing to give this game a go will find a decent action adventure that can be finished in a few sittings.

If you're a shooter fan looking to smash through a couple hours of fun while picking up some easy trophies, look no further than 007 Blood Stone! To be honest, i hadn't given this game a second thought after having seen maybe one trailer. One morning at a buddies house he threw it in and asked me to help him get through a part he was stuck on. To my suprise, I started to actually enjoy myself! Went home, put it in my GameQ, and wasn't dissapointed.

First thing you'll notice is the solid voice work from the films stars. I cant say i remember anything from the crazy plot but who cares?! It was just what the doctor ordered with awesome hand to hand takedowns, quick and responsive gunplay, solid cover mechanics, and some of the most intense driving sections i've played in a good long while. What's better is all of the awesomeness i just disclosed is peppered in between loads of 007 styled action set pieces that easily rival anything fro the films.

Don't worry about difficulty. The game offers plenty of settings for your casual gamers, or your diehard shooter fans. If you rock at games like Uncharted or Gears, play through on the hardest difficulty setting and watch the trophies pour in!

You wont get a new Bond film for quite some time.... but that doesn't matter because EA just showed up to quench your thirst with a vodka martini filled with violence! SOLID. RENTAL.
