First of all, I would like to congratulate myself on being the first person to write a review for this three year old game. I mean, really, nobody bothered to write a review to inform you if buying this game was a wise way to spend your seven dollars of change? You know the stuff that you have been saving up in your piggy bank for forever. This page hasn't been looked at in so long, I had to wipe all the dust and cobwebs off the computer screen before I could write this review.
Anyhow, lets get on with the review. To me, James Bond 007 Nightfire was worth my entire piggy bank of seven bucks. And let me tell you this, it wasn't the single player that made it that way. I WOULD NOT spend more than a dollar for this game's single player. The multiplayer, on the other hand, is what made this game a platinum hit. One unique thing about this game's multiplayer is that you can play by yourself. That's because this game has a cool feature of adding "bots",computer players, to play against you or with you. Also, you can set how good the bots are so you can play at your level. Another cool thing about this game's multiplayer is that you can set health handicaps to make one player stronger than another player. The last thing that shows that Nightfire is held together by it's multiplayer is all the different types of games it offers like King of the Hill, Search and Destroy, and, of course, Arena. The only bad thing about the multiplayer is there is no live. blegh.
The single player reeks so bad that I would suggest you stay away. The smell could knock your lights out. I feel drowsy just writing about it, but, if I didn't, it wouldn't be a complete review. The first reason the single player is bad is because it's a fairly hard game until the last level, where it gets much harder. Also, the game engine slows down a lot. The last reason you should wear a gas mask is because of the bad graphics.
