James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing for Xbox Reviews by Gamers

The game, for the most part, was fairly decent. Good story, great graphic and sound, mostly fun, but it can be incredibly frustrating, and i don't mean the difficulty. The controls were just awful, especially the driving stages. I have never played a game where controlling a car was THAT friggen hard. It always feels like 007 had one too many dry martini's. Also, concerning the driving scenes, you can't lock on to an enemy when your in a car or on a motorcycle. It's not so bad for the cars, since the rockets automatically lock, but horrible for the motorcycle. Also the lock on feature sometimes didn't work right for the normal stages. You can't lock on to people behind you, and, to quote Jimmi Hendrix, it's a frustrating mess. Also having to enter bond sense mode every time you want to destroy an object gets tedious after a while. I couldn't even finish the game, it simply stopped being fun.

I was torn on this one, been a huge Bond fan my whole life, but burned so often by the direct theme games I didn't know if I wanted to bother. I took the plunge and rented it anyways, and you know, not half bad. Its definitely a step behind in re to the technology that was available in its competitors at the time of release, but it had a lot of ingredients that more than made up for it. Story was supposed to be independent of the films so it was fun to have a new adventure, made lots of "toys" available, and the missions were diverse enough to keep you hanging on. Its not one that you'll take a sick day to stay home and play, but you'll definitely cramp up some fingers playing it out.
