Jak X: Combat Racing for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

Well if u've read the title u can probably tell that this isn't the usual jak and daxter platformer but a racing theme. When Jak and his friends are poisoned they have to race and win for the championship. IT'S SIMPLE WIN OR DIE. That's the kind of danger that makes the Jak series so fun to play, and if you're big Jak fans u definitely need to rent or buy this. Replay value is high plus u can race online or just spend a lot of time customizing your cars. Either way Jak X will keep u pinned to your seat and buckled in for hours (about 8-10, not as long as other jak games but still fun) til you pass out of the smell of gas in your room.

This was a truly fun expierence. The characters were fun as you expect from the Jax world. There were some issues with the length of the story and the amount of tracks avialable. But besides that, the racing was fun and the weapons were fun but there always seems to be alot of mariokart type weapons in any racing battle type game. The online play was a good expierence, with the occaisionally slowdown. The number of vehicles were suffiencent but I wanted the dream car and never found it. Truly fun though. I need to see another game like this with more options of tracks and characters and vehicles and length. So the final verdict is good but could use more content and nauty dog could do it. So rather than rushing to finish,(pretty apparent) they should make the best racing game of the animated fantasy type world. So lets get it on, later folks.
