::Repeats what my title states:: The game itself is cute. I mean seeing them all in a chibi form is pretty hilarious. It can get pretty repetitive at times. You tend to get to parts where you get stuck and have no idea what you're doing to the point where you want to put the controller down and just walk away but persevere and you'll get through it. (Those who have played through it probably know which part I'm talking about). The actually battles are almost exactly like Xenosaga so if you adore that game like me then you'll be playing this game for hours just for the battles. But like in Xenosaga and Pokemon, if you just want to run to one area in a timely manner, you can't do that because of the battles that you run into. But then again, that's a main part of the game. But it doesn't keep it from being aggravating at times. The fact that the voice actors from the show are present really helps the game in my opinion. (Shippo's so serious sometimes it's hilarious). I haven't beaten the game as of yet but what I have played of it I have just loved. Of course that could juse be because I adore InuYasha.

If you like the anime series, you'll enjoy this game to some extent. The voice actors from the cartoon series are employed for this game which takes a lot away from the short comings of it. You get a choice of gender for your character and get lost in time. Along the way you meet all the favorites, and you get to spend a few personal moments with them. It's fun to play around with. This game definitely requires a guide as some areas of it are difficult and easy to get lost in. Also there are very few save points and some are hidden. The combat engaged within the game is smeared with repeat phrases the characters say (which gets old fast) and some sound bytes cut short all together. A sense of impetus lacks here and the game can become frustrating when roaming about the map. You can definitely tell that not much time or effort was invested in the creation of this game. When you choose the female character, most conversations seem logical. However, when you choose the male, the conversations seem odd when InuYasha responds to the character with a feminine pronoun. If you try the game, it you'll pick up what I mean. And if you are looking for computer generated graphics, just forget it. The movies are taken from the show. The storyline is cute and at times still exciting. But if it hadn't been InuYasha I would have thought this a VERY BAD game.
Inuyasha was a decent game in terms of simple gameplay. It has a dating sim-ish feel to it, seeing as you can better your relationship with the character of your choosing. And it is the ultimate in Mary-Sue's. It wouldn't have been so bad if there was an option of skipping the scenes. You don't even have the option of walking away and coming back when it's over, because you have to prompt everyone to speak. It was enough to make me turn off the game at some points.
