I am a self-admitted Harvest Moon fanatic. All of the games have such marvelous charm, but if anything in the series is charming, it's Innocent Life.
I was more than pleased with the game. Heck, I was thrilled! I don't have any of the next-gen consoles or even a DS so this was a pleasant surprise to have the ability to play it. Coming from someone who played Harvest Moon when she was 5, I think I can have some good say.
To begin with, the landscaping was phenomenal. The time it took to get from the lab to your farm, however was a downer for me. But I ended up being less annoyed by it when I got the vehicle that let you move around. The vehicle also had a bit of an annoying noise when it moved, but it took far less time to get to the Dr.'s house weekly.
The whole setting of the town had my heart melting. The pure originality of the game simply made me awe at the screen.
The plot was absolutely amazing as well. The concept of the character you're playing is slowly becoming more human like, learns to cook have fun and more and more emotions.
Though there are a few nuisances, if you like Harvest Moon you need to rent this wonderful addition to the series.
