Injustice: Gods Among Us is the best comic book game and the best fighting game that i have seen in years. NetherRealm studios followed up their incredible MK9 with a fighter definitely worth its pedigree.
Graphics: good, but not great. The cutscene character models are dreadful, but the in-game models are crisp, with unique costumes and fluid animations. 6
Sound: While not particularly memorable, the music is still cool enough to keep you humming along. but the sounds of the actual fighting is fantastic. The hits sound brutal and the effects are quite good. And the voice acting performances are great, also. many jl cartoon actors reprise their roles and do a great job of it. 8
Story: the opening cutscene really sets the stage for a surprisingly complex and emotional plotline. Superman's twisted version of Gotham is creatively astounding. The characters are well-fleshed out, and the game is perfectly paced. Its really interesting to see how it progresses and to see who lives and dies by the end. and the ending sets itself up for a sequel nicely. 9
Gameplay: take MK's near-flawless combo and meter systems and add in a plethora of new ideas and concepts. i really enjoyed using the environmental objects and screen transitions. wagers are also a good tactic to use, while not completely necessary. The super moves are visually stunning and stylized, while also dealing tons of brutal damage. the characters are all fun to learn and master, and the combo systems allow noobs to immediately jump into the action. experienced players will also get a kick out of its many game modes and the complexity of its advanced combat. 9.5
if u can, pick up this game. its completely worth it.
