The Good: DC has given their cast a true chance to fight in the MK style that Super Heroes and Villains deserve. The plot was very interesting, the fights were fun, and the cast of characters are indeed quite enjoyable. There are some nice interactions with each other in combat depending on which two combatants are facing each other.

The Bad: After you beat the story, this just becomes another fighting game that has side challenges here and there. For any person who likes fighting games, they will probably love this. For someone like myself, this was okay for a bit, but got boring after a bit.

The Ugly: Some of the alternate costumes were not worth the unlock. It would've been better if they were a bit more unique (for example, the two Batman costumes were not all that different, so why bother with the unlock?).

This is the best fighting game since Tekken 6. The story was the perfect length and the DLC content makes and keeps the single player mode interesting. The graphics are on point. The fully destructive environments are a plus. I like the way the music is layered throughout each fight like the old school made for television shows. A punch might just have a smash type sound or the kick may land with a slight boom sound. That's nice. Each character ending is very different so look forward to learning something new if you don't keep up with DC superheroes and villains. I know I did. The real highlight of the game in my opinion are the super moves. I enjoy every one of them no matter how many times I do them or see them done. I thought that the game would play entirely like Mortal Kombat but the only thing similar to me is the uppercut and the leg sweep. That's it. The reason people say that it plays a lot like Mortal Kombat is because when they marketed the game they used "from the creators of Mortal Kombat". If that wasn't said a lot of reviews would read a lot like mine. As a matter of fact that's the only con about the game that I can see. I can't wait to see part 2. I hope to see the story keep going. Peace
