when i was watching the movie it was good but they never added keisuke takahashi 2 make the rotory brothers with Rysauke and they never did have Shingo in there who drives the civic and i did like tho that they actually made the drifts look professional

This movie was way off from the anime... but it was ok... Could have been a whole lot better, but I can't complain... They did an ok job with it. Chinese normally make better movies though...

I watched this movie. Then I watched the anime (all three seasons). Then I watched this movie again.

The humor is very good. The race scenes are okay. The story is okay. The music is interesting. Definitely watch it for the humor. The enjo kosai part felt completely random as did Team Emperor popping up in the last third of the movie (the anime executed both better).

I was dissappointed with how the movie portrayed the anime. They omit some major characters yet include characters who weren't that big. They should've had Keisuke instead of Nakazato, and Iketani instead of that girl at the gas station.

They also cram two seasons into one movie which is why things feel random and unfocused. The first race should've been Takumi's "fluke" win against Keisuke. The middle race opponent could be one or both of the Night Kids. The last race (and the focus of the movie) should be Takumi vs Ryosuke. Save Team Emperor for the sequel.

Overall, you'll actually enjoy this movie more if you never watched the anime. But even then, it still has its major flaws.
