This game is an impressive rpg with many secrets and twists to unfold. Although the ending will blow your mind and the two big secrets in the game's story are very well written, they are very easy to guess. I figured out where they were going with it from a mile away. the story still gave me that "freakin' sweet!" feeling.
The gameplay and fighting mechanisms are well put together, if not a little unorthodox. The best part of this game, unlike our favorite final fantasy 13, your team can heal the party leader when he falls... The battling is great until you hit the part where "syncing" with a team mate is required to continue a mission. That was a four hour long endeavor that could have been 15 minutes. massive pain in the $%%.
Other then the synchronizing problem, I only have one other grievance with this epic tale of a video game. There are WAY to many playable characters, even with the "3 teams" thing. It gave me horrible post war shell shock of my horrible experience with Chrono Cross. -shutters-
all in all, this game beats the heck out of all the other Square Enix's "B team" games like Nier.
