If you've ever played Call of Duty or Halo, you will be quite annoyed with this game.
Some things to note:
1) There is NO autosave - I found this out after dying 2 hours into the game and had to start over.
2) There is no way to focus aim (look down the sights) so aiming at targets in the distance can be difficult at best.
3) Light is too bright, Shadow is too dark
4) Voice acting is mediocre at best - Pitiful lip-syncing to boot
5) Storyline is incredibly unbelievable. Heaven has a Secret Service?? no thank.
6) There is a cover system, but it gets you killed because it limits your range of aiming while enemies quickly move outside the range and flank you. System take too long to get into and out of cover, and results in your losing a lot of health while an enemy shoots you while you're leaving cover.
7) Cannot switch weapons while moving, Character will stop, switch, and continue running after switching
8) Regain health and Ammo by absorbing souls of dead enemies. However it takes 4-5 seconds to absorb enemies to gain health and ammo (specifically ammo). Trying to health or get ammo during a firefight is suicide. Also, enemies only stay in world for about 10-15 seconds. After a large firefight, when you need more health and ammo. you're not likely to get more than 2-3 enemies absorbed for piddly amounts of health and ammo.
9) There are many more I'm sure i'll come up with. Currently on the 3rd Chapter.
Pros to this game:
... ummm....
1) High Framerate... so long as no lighting particles are being rendered, then you get down to 15FPS or slower in some cases of many particle effects. Second Chapter boss will do this quite a bit.
.... ummmmmmmmmmm....
2) 95% of achievement points are story-milestone based, including 100 points for completion on Easy, 150 for normal, and 200 on hard. basically that means 45% of the games points are from story completion. Play this game through on hard the first time, and you might get all 1000 points in one playthrough.
