inFAMOUS was a great action-adventure at the time of its release. It is an arcadish mix between Grand Theft Auto and Assassin's Creed, in the sense you can explore a large city and scale buildings, only you have special powers.
The graphics, player models, and cutscenes are decent. The mechanics are good, though, and it feels like a perfect match when you are traversing the environment (which is also nice). The storyline is surprisingly intereting. There are enough side quests to keep you interested.
If you play the game now, it wil feel outdated. But don't miss out because the inFAMOUS eries is one of the must-play exculsives of this generation.
From the makers of sly cooper what is not to love.
The game play is amazing with free range exploration being able to climb up almost any building with ease and drop from any height. I love justice, right and wrong situations, and i loved the good playthrough, andforce lightning!
the character cast is amazing in this game, everybodys voices work for their character(i just started infamous 2 and they butcher the re-casting of voice actors in that game), I love the attention to detail in the story and how all the characters interact with each other, made me want to see what happened next in the story
The ending was surprising, but really made me think, I don't really agree with some of the plot but it's still an amazing story
The only bad things in this game are seen in the evil playthrough, the story doesn't really make sense with a lot of evil missions just being about cole mindlessly following some psycho womans advice and doing stupid stuff, but i liked the karma system and with any good you need bad, so it works.
I also didn't like the collection completion tracking, when you go to save your game if you wait a few seconds it will show a few details about your record, but not enough detail, and blast shards can be a pain to collect 100% unless you start from the very beginning with a map and mark off all the ones you collect 1 by 1, you can't tell how many more blash shards you need until the end of the game, and it only tells you for 2 seconds after each blast share you collect, i ended my first playthrough with missing 7 blast shards, i had to comb over the game with a walkthrough on my evil playthrough to get the trophy, because if you don't know which shards you are missing going to look for them can be ruff
over all the problem's are minor compared to the game play and story, which are really the 2 most important parts in any game, a solid 9/10 for their accomplishment, they did really well transitioning between the cartoony racoon to a rea
