An Amazing Game

Wow. I am so angry at myself for not playing this game until 3 years later because I thought it was going to be bad after playing the demo, but I was dead wrong. I rarely ever give a game a 10/10 rating, but this game deserves it and the ratings for this game should be higher than an 8.1 as well.
The graphics are decent in this game, not great, but not bad at all. The gameplay makes up for the graphics though.
The powers in this game are absolutely amazing and fun, and you slowly get powers throughout the game, and every single one are very easy to use and you will use all the powers every time you fight enemies since the buttons for the powers are very easily accessible and not forgotten about. Electrocuting enemies, pushing cars, shockwaving enemies and cars, thunder drop, lighting bolting enemies does not get old and the combat is so much fun.
The story is very good as well, but I have to admit that you kind of get a little confused to what's going on or why you are doing some missions but most of the time you are on track and the ending of this game is very cool and has a good twist to it.
I didn't find one single glitch or anything like that in this game at all.
I recommend getting this game, it is now one of my favorite titles of all time, and I am so happy that I finally tried this game out.

If you love superheroe games this is the game so much to do lots 2 explore every gamefly member should rent it (if u r in2superhero games) and its made by da people who made Sly cooper! if u like sly cooper u should rent this game period. I defintly suggest u play da first before play da second. i just turned this game in 2day and i will try to get the second . After reading this put this game in your Q right now you wont regret it

infamous has insane gamplay and nice graphics. everything is perfect. the only thing that got kind of annoying was all the random mobs everywere, but other than that its a fantastic game.

When I got this in the mail I was really stoked to play, and when I started I could barley stop. Really great game, but the story was kinda short. But all the side quests and collectibles make it last longer.

A Perfect Game to Own for PS3

-I have just recently got this game, but from what i can tell from my experience through it is that the Graphics and Game-play are very amazing for its time. The game is very faced paced.

-The Comic books give the game a superhero-ey feel. It takes you on a very new and refreshing journey, through the city that was once normal, but is now destroyed with chaos and disorder.

-The Karma decisions make the game tough, because it will effect the plot later on, but to do certain missions, you have to make special sacrifices, which makes the game tough.

It is a great game. It is a open world with three islands to conquer. It is a well defined game with character development and stragety for different enemy types. It has power development which is easy to configure.

This game is absolutely amazing. The storyline is seamless and the environment is great! Graphics are a big plus on this game. The idea of a lightning bolt walking man may seam pointless at first, but this game makes in interesting and fun to play. I beat this one and cannot wait to play the second. If you rent this, I personally guarantee that you will not be disappointed!!!

the facts r that u r cole magrath or whatever his last name is spelt u wake up from a explosion and run through the car garage and then u learn how to use these powers but they're conduits just like him and he meets kessler a future self of him and fights kessler winning him but tries to kil him but 1 thing is why he could go back in time when he almost got married dumped trish and kill the beast in the second one u have to go to new maria and stop the beast there and what about the other countrys but still great game, great game

I love this game. It has a lot in common with Prototype, but only in the best ways possible. I like the human aspect of Cole, over the superhuman aspect of Mercer, but only because it does limit you from being "all-powerful." A must-play for all PS3 owners.

Infamous is the 2nd best game Ive ever played (Assassins Creed:BH 1st) Ok,Infamous is a very awesome game. I recomend playing as a hero first to get you started but once you beat the hero mode go try villian mode its 20x as awesome.I mean you look cooler,the voice goes with you,its more fun,your powers look cooler,the powers go better as an evil person,the story goes better with it too and come on the games called Infamous(the evilist rank)and the game isnt called Hero.The powers in this game are epic,as is the storyline,and the graphics.Ive heard a bunch of people complaining over these 3 things over and over again: "The aiming is too hard", "You die too easy", and "The jumping is r tarded". Well those people apparently shouldnt play a game over E. The aiming was good. Its not that you die too easy its that this game takes skill. And I dont know why people are complaining about the jumping the jumping is really good.(in my opinions) One thing that makes this game so awesome is the karma moments and how you can feel similar to Cole. The only complaints that I really see is that this game is fairly short and theres not much you can do after you beat the game and go into free roam. And those are nit picks. It would be cool if they made this game more interactive like talking to people while its not a mission request and going into building.

Best Game on the Playstation 3

InFAMOUS is the best game I have played in a long time. Sony was giving it away for free because of the breakdown. If it was free, it probably wasn't worth it. But it was really the only one that looked half decent, so I got it anyways. Right when I started to run from falling debris and stuff, I fell in love with it. It was also the first game I got a Platinum on.

Story - You play as Cole MacGrath. He was sent to deliver a package by [Censored for Spoilers] with a bomb inside called the Ray Sphere. As it was delivered, it detonated. Everyone within range of the explosion died except for, you guessed it, Cole. Though he was badly injured, he was able to escape. When he was sent to the hospital for the injuries he took in, he found out the explosion gave him the power to shoot lightning out of his fingers. It didn't take long for him to figure out how to control it. This was only the beginning of a great game.

Controls and Graphics - Both great. The controls are similar to the Sly Cooper series. You jump and you latch on to the nearest "Special Move" doohickie. Though instead of pressing the O button, its automatic. Making it somewhat harder to control. They range from Pipes to Signs 5000 ft. from the ground. The Graphics look great. They are very detailed.

Gameplay - this is what makes the game. It has a similar style to Grand Theft Auto. You have to travel to a point to start a Mission. Along with story missions, there are side missions as well. Side missions will give you blast shards or other things. Another thing in the game is Karma. If you do heroic things, you can be good and have different cutscenes and an ending than being evil.

The Conclusion - InFAMOUS is the best game you can have for PS3. I haven't played InFAMOUS 2 yet, so maybe this will become 2nd Best... nah just kidding. 10 out of 10.

so far i have only said nice things about this game. I only have one bad thing to say about it. If you finish the game on hero mode and you want to replay it on infamous mode (bad guy mode) i suggest that you dont do that. The reason is that bad guy mode is simply desturbing. you may think that it is all fine and that it is just a game. It is still horrafiying to see a innocent civilian beg for their lives as you try to get energy from passing bystaders. Otherwise it is a great game. just be a hero first.

EPIC!! The one word to accurately describe this game. The Karma System integrated is really enjoyable. The amount and variance in power of upgrades (neutral good and evil karma) is astounding! However, it is very in-depth and took me a good week to beat the good side. It's a terrific game!!

This game impressed me a whole lot. The first 5 minutes in I was a bit concerned because it doesn't have the GREATEST graphics (I'm talking like the other characters detail during game) but it was something different and an EXCELLENT exclusive for the PS3. The storyline was one of the most interesting I've seen. It has a lot of twists and turns. You couldn't ask for more in a game. You can climb any building, you can collect many things, it's just fun. There are many side missions to do also. It can take anywhere from 15-20 hours to complete. This game is probably in the top 5 best games I have played. Time to play Infamous 2!

If you love games with a great story line and 3rd person action then this is the game for you! It has a Jaw drooping ending that I never saw it coming.

As soon as you start the game, you get to see the amazing visuals the entire game is going to contain, and its going to have a lot! You start the game as Cole McGrath, who wakes up in a giant crater with fires and destroyed EVERYTHING surrounding the blast zone and he soon realizes he is a bit more 'charged' than he was before. There is a Karma system in the game that has you being the cities hero, or a vigilante who is only out for yourself, which manifests itself in an altered look and very differing power evolutions.

You develop powers to shoot and absorb lightning in several different ways, good and bad that never leave you bored, in fact, I played through the game TWICE before I sent it back.

Now to break the game down:

Graphics: 9/10 - They are quite amazing, and the way lightning affects the environments is awesome, and the frame rate is usually high unless you just blew up 10 cars, 15 baddies, and put on a light show to brighten even the darkest of rooms.

Gameplay: 9.5/10 - The ONLY reason this isn't getting 10/10 is because it DOES take a little getting used to with the targeting reticule and becoming accurate with it. Other than that its flawless, you will be throwing lightning grenades, shooting lighting missiles, or just plain blasting enemies with lightning storms you can summon and control with the SIXAXIS controller.

Story: 10/10 - It's told in the way of animated comic-strip style, which is connects with the superhero vibe very nicely, the story ends up with the same ending, but how its told until you get there is a VERY different experience.

Content: 9.5/10 - There are TONS of things to do in Empire City, extra quests, help random people on the street with certain problems, collecting blast shards, and finding hidden dead drop locations, that are all very fun! There is a way to "track" blast shards and dead drops, that make it challenging, but not where you'd need a guide to find them all.

All in all, FANTASTIC game. Definitely worth a rent.

ive seen the next infamous and it looks good but it does not tell how u get out of the coraten and if they dint tell u then i will be very mad because i thout you were sapose to get out in the first but oveisly not but overal it was a good game.
