It's got a good story and it feels like an interactive movie. If you're a fan of adventure gaming at its roots then you definitely have to check out Indigo Prophecy. I would've given it a higher rating but the simon-like button pressing and L/R button mashing action sequences start to get repetetive toward the end. Often I felt like I was missing out on the action on screen because I had to watch and press the correct direction. If there's a sequel or the developer makes a new game, I would suggest they go back to its roots.

I had the greatest time playing this game! It felt so much like a movie, but still gave you that gamer experience. The characters of the game are easy to get attached. I was absolutely amazed by how much objects/people were capable of interaction. After I beat the game, I wish there was more! Each action I made(well, most of them) altered the storyline in a small way. I must admit though, the game's controls became a bit annoying due to the confusion of where to move the thumb sticks to move in that direction. It also became a bit repetitive with the mini-games, but the action makes up for every bit of these minor negatives sides to the game. The story line was excellent and right from the start you are thrown into a situation. This is what games should be like! An EXCELLENT story, great gameplay, and such life-like(by life-like i mean the characters acted as actual people should)characteristics for the characters. I also loved the fact you could play as both the police and the suspect! Great game, awesome originality, I'm giving this a 9/10!!!

I have played games for a long time. Some of my favorite games are from the King's Quest era on PC. There has been a big drought on adventure games like this, and Indigo Prophecy is an attempt at bringing these games to the next generation.

I found the story of this game to very very intriguing. It pulled you in and made you care about the characters. While the story does take a strange turn at the end, I felt that it still added to the overall tone.

The gameplay itself is very easy to understand. My only complaint is that some of the times events cause you to not notice what is going on with some of the story. The sections when you have to pull the left and right triggers can be exhausting. I like how these events have been added to keep you feeling like you are interacting with the story, but there is a feeling that they have been added just to make you feel like you are doing something other than just watching a long movie. They do feel a little forced at times.

Overall, I did enjoy this game despite its quirks. A great example of adventure gaming and hope that there will be more in the future.
