It sounds like a great game when you read the info blurb. But in reality, other than creating your (female only) movie star to your looks specifications, that's the only real interaction you do. The rest of the game is set up like DDR for the DS. Each 'event' you unlock, you play through by hitting the colored dot at the bottom of the screen Just when the moving colored dot that corresponds to it hits it.
There's scenes you can watch while this is going on in the upper screen, but if you watch them, you miss the colored dots and don't get a good score. Not having a good score means you don't get the max fans for that 'event' and then you have the option of re-doing it. So no real penalty for missing, but no real incentive for getting it perfect either.
There are also 'fashion events' where it tells you to mix and match an outfit from your closet to create your own line of clothing. You can change the colors and patterns on the clothes, but can only have 3 custom pieces per type of clothing. (IE. 3 shoes, 3 tops, 3 pants/skirts) And once you have those 3 items, you can't customize anymore of the same category, or UNcustomize the ones you've already done so you can change something else.
All in all, if you're looking for something fun and movie star like, this game isn't it. If you just want to practice your hand-eye-coordination or just want to pass an hour or two of time, it might be for you.
