Ice is about to cover the entire Earth in this animated family adventure set 20,000 years ago. Animals of all kinds are racing south, hoping to find warmer weather. The looming slab of ice has brought together an unlikely band of mismatched animals: Manny (voiced by Ray Romano), a moody wooly mammoth; Sid (John Leguizamo), a sloth whose mouth moves a lot faster than his brain; Diego (Denis Leary), a mischievous saber-toothed tiger; and Scrat, a saber-toothed squirrel who's obsessed with acorns. When tigers attack a human village, Manny and Sid end up saving a drowning woman's baby. The foursome decides they have to return the baby to his dad. They'll brave a lot more than the oncoming ice on their way to becoming history's unlikeliest group of (sub-zero) heroes.
