This game is WWII dogfighting action at it's best in my opinion. I love games with real history to them. You get to be in the RAF and the Red Army in this one and fight the German menace. Controls are easy and the fighting is intense. I look forward to purchasing one day.
Overall, a very good game. The graphics are better than most other flight games I've ever played. The controls are easy to learn, yet allow for complex maneuvers. For those seeking a more arcade-style play, there is a setting for that, and you can just shoot down planes and bomb ships till your heart's content. Or, for those more serious gamers who are looking for realism, you can set the game to either 'realistic' or 'simulator' mode to limit fuel and ammunition, and make the enemies more difficult to kill. I like that this game encompasses multiple theaters of WWII, and allows you to fly in many different kinds of aircraft from different countries. My only regret is that it doesn't have a single-player campaign from the Axis point of view, but once you unlock the German planes you can fly them in training or online modes, so at least that. All in all, if you like aerial combat games, this is the best you're gonna find for the PS3.

This game is not very good at all. After I read a little bit about the game, I was pumped to hear about all the planes that would be available in this game. I played for a little while and found myself completely bored with the game and fustrated.
First off, the whole time you are flying, it keeps constantly telling you to pull up, or critical speed, or something like that. If I wanted to get that technical about flying a plane, I'd get a pilots' license. I just want to fly, do things with the plane thats not realistic, and blow stuff up. If thats what you like, don't bother with this game.
