This monster-filled RPG is set in a world where no RPG has gone before: your console! Hyperdimension Neptunia is a video game built around video games, starring four anime goddesses who are CPUs (Console Patron Units). In other words, they are game consoles personified. Play as Neptune, a goddess at war with other goddesses, who travels to Gamindustri, a world under attack by monsters. Battle to bring peace to two worlds at war as you summon classic video game characters or images stored on your PS3. Customize your experience by using your own pictures to round out Neptune's look, develop your own combo attacks, and more.

I can understand the negative reviews and low ratings this game is getting. It has a horrible first impression. Sloppy interface, clumsy controls, and a battle system that is very quirky.
