This game started good but I found it to become pretty boring after about an hour. I didn't like they way the controls were setup and I didn't find any way to change the control layouts more to my preference. I didn't play it in Co-Op mode so maybe that would have made a difference but in single player mode, there are secrets that only the other character can unlock and for you to do that sometimes you have to be in the exact right spot after you find out there's a secret to unlock. Kind of frustrating at times plus even in casual mode I died... A lot. Fortunately they give you lots of revival potions that your companion can use on you otherwise I probably would have stopped playing after the 10th time I died. Overall gameplay was okay the story seemed decent but I just couldn't get past the fact that it was a typical dungeon crawler like many others I've played in the past. Definitely glad I rented it first.
Hunted is an action RPG that focuses more on the action. This would not be a bad thing but the game play mechanics are not suitable for a game that is based mostly on combat. It is mired by repetitive game play and combat that is clunky at best. The story line is not altogether impressive but the voice acting is not too bad. If you're looking for a good RPG to hold you over until Skyrim is released, look elsewhere.
