The reviews for this game were mediocre, but I enjoyed it. There's nothing special or new to this game, but I genuinely had fun playing it. The story is decent, but I found the action to be most satisfying. This game can be described as Gears of War meets Lord of the Rings. It's not excellent, but there is enough there to have fun with. I found myself looking forward to getting back into the game while I was away from home. Half way through, my girlfriend jumped in for co-op and it definitely increased the fun factor. Mixing abilities and attacks does give it a certain pleasure to play. I found the game to be very enjoyable until the last few hours where it became a grind. However, if you're looking for a fun fantasy game to romp through, it's definitely worth playing.

The game is fun and will keep you entertained for a bit, the review on here is a little harsh. They have a create a map mode and you can play maps the other people made which i love. Although once you get the spells and skills that best appeal you the game sort of gets repetitive but you have 2 characters with 2 different play styles and different skills and magic which will get you playing again.
This game is like a Gears of War RPG with Swords, bows, magic, and executions.

The voice acting in this game is good, and the give and take between the two characters is funny at times. Depending on which on of the 2 hero's you pick to play as only really matters when it comes to which weapons you get upgrades for. The female is the standard elf ranger but you can still pull out a sword and broad, and the male is the warrior that can pull out a crossbow and shoot from afar. The only difference is she gets bows from weapon stands and he gets swords, axes,or maces but both get shields. The skills you get isn't based on xp but shards you pick up throughout the game lets you upgrades your skills so no real need to try to get hit on every kill.....unless you want to.
The online co-op is fun but since the game just came out so it takes a minute to get in a match. The guy has some spells that help the chick out like lifting enemy's into the air for her to shoot down. Both can make the the other stronger using battle magic that comes in handy during hard fights. The hidden rooms aren't just little rooms they are whole pieces of the map taking up 10-15 mins to complete. Having a gears of war cover to cover system the game is pretty fun. The crucible is cool if you like creating your own maps but you need to play the story to get gold to unlock more stuff to play around with. Over all the story is cool, the online co-op is fun, and playing and creating your own dungeons is pretty awesome. I would not buy this game, in the long term though prolly has no dlc and if it dose it would be for the crucible. I would rent it for a very long time then turn it in.
